American Express Open Offers you sync Business Card Expenses to Intuit QuickBooks®
American Express’ first-of-its-kind integration allows business owners to tag expenses made on their business credit cards from American Express OPEN® with their QuickBooks tags online or on-the-go.
American Express OPEN and Intuit announce the launch of ReceiptMatchSM with QuickBooks, the number one cloud accounting solution for small businesses and accountants worldwide. This mobile and desktop integration is designed to help small businesses sync business card expenses with QuickBooks to lessen the end-of-the-month pileup of the expense receipts.
The ReceiptMatch mobile app and web-based service was launched last year to help small businesses reconcile receipts with their American Express business credit card online account. The new feature will fill up the gap between the time when the business card is swiped for a purchase and the expense is entered into QuickBooks. The business card will be integrated directly into QuickBooks. Moreover, this integration will help make accounting process faster and easier.
Everything you need is to sync a business’ QuickBooks account with the American Express online account and choose the categories you want to use to tag your business card expenses. Here is how it works:
Snap. Take a picture of your receipts with a mobile phone, tag receipts with your QuickBooks categories and ReceiptMatch will match them to the corresponding business card transactions.
Tag. Label the transactions with your company’s own QuickBooks categories right from your American Express online statement or ReceiptMatch mobile app.
Transfer. Review and send the transaction data with a link to the receipt image directly to your QuickBooks company file. Now your expense is filed and you do not have to enter transaction data manually into QuickBooks.
Business owners place a large number of business transactions on their credit card. Integrating ReceiptMatch and QuickBooks will help them go through the troublesome, but necessary process of reconciling business card expenses with their accounting system easily and quickly.
ReceiptMatch and QuickBooks are free for all small business credit cards from American Express OPEN.
