New Partnerships of Mastercard: DoorDash and HelloFresh
Continuing to live in the present reality and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, global giants of the financial and credit sector introduce new bonuses for the convenience of their customers. Mastercard, in turn, has announced new partnerships with DoorDash and HelloFresh offering new food and grocery delivery perks to Mastercard World and World Elite cardholders.
According to recent research, online sales almost doubled compared to 2020. Thus, new partnerships have arisen in connection with the sharp increase in food delivery during the coronavirus pandemic.
Beginning April 1st, Mastercard World and World Elite credit cardholders have started to earn rewards for their everyday spending, while also continuing to benefit from the security protection, digital and experiential features.
DashPass provides delivery service from thousands of restaurants, grocery and convenience stores. Mastercard World and World Elite credit cardholders who are new to DashPass will receive a complimentary three-month subscription to DashPass that offers unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on orders over $12. Plus, all new and existing DashPass members will automatically get a $5 discount on their first two orders each month until September 2022 when paying with a World or World Elite Mastercard.
HelloFresh is a food subscription company that sends pre-portioned ingredients to user’s doorstep. Along with the feature to quickly cook healthy meals designed by nutritionists and chefs it enables the World and World Elite cardholders to get 5% back on each purchase that can be used towards future orders. Additionally, new customers receive a discount for the first few orders.
Meanwhile, Mastercard also continues to expand existing partnerships with Lyft, Fandango and ShopRunner by adding new discount programs and benefits for select cardholders. They include a $5 credit for every three rides with Lyft per month. The credit will be automatically applied to the next ride and can be used once during the month.
Moreover, for every $20 spent on digital movie rentals and movie ticket purchases cardholders will earn a $5 Fandango reward. They will also have free ShopRunner membership that offers free two-day shipping and returns from over 100+ participating retailers.
In addition, all credit cardholders gain exclusive access to Priceless Experiences offering digital experiences all around the world and continue to have 24/7 access to Mastercard ID Theft Protection to monitor their personal information and credentials.
