Most airlines are very protective of their miles and don't allow you to redeem miles on non-partner airlines. Korean Air is a part of Skyteam, so you are free to redeem miles for flights of Skyteam members, but not other airlines. That includes Delta, Air France and China Airlines. The best strategy to earn travel miles is to apply for the general rewards credit card that earn travel miles on all purchases. Some of the miles credit cards offer sign-up bonuses, big rewards rates and all these perks may come for no annual fee.

If you are not using that TD Aeroplan credit card, see if it will be better for your credit to close this card and apply for a different credit card which you would use. You may want to close the card if you do not use it (which is your case), it is a relatively new credit account, it has an annual fee, it has a high interest rate. Before you close your TD Aeroplan credit card, you should pay off any balance and redeem miles, if there are any. If miles are not enough for an award ticket, see if you can redeem them for gift cards from your favorite retailers. Then you can close your card. The Allegiant rewards program offer only 15,000-point sign-up bonus after you make $1,000 or more in purchases within the first 90 days. And this card has also $59 annul fee. Points can be used as a statement credit toward Allegiant Air purchases only. Pay attention that your points can expire if don't use it.
