Chase Bank is a national bank that was founded in1799 and is currently headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. It was originally known as Chase Manhattan Bank until a merger with JP Morgan and Co. in 2000. Chase became headquartered in Chicago after an additional merger with Bank One Corporation in 2004.
