Walmart is Launching Its Own Subscription Service – Walmart+
Walmart is finally ready to introduce a new subscription service offering free same-day delivery and fuel discount. Walmart+ was supposed to go live back in July, however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Now the launch is planned to take place on September 15.
The new product will help you order any goods from Walmart at regular prices and not overpay for shipping. The only limitation you should remember about is the minimum order amount of $35. The subscription is going to cost you $12.95/month or $98/year. According to the Walmart official website, this fee “pays for itself in just two deliveries.” For comparison, the usual Walmart delivery price without the Walmart+ membership is $10.
Walmart+ promises to become a nice deal for frequent Walmart shoppers and save about 2,5 hours per week as against shopping in-store. Here’s what you can do with the service:
- Place orders of minimum $35;
- Save multiple delivery addresses in the app;
- Choose a one-hour pickup or delivery window;
- Get free same-day unlimited delivery through the “Pickup & delivery” section;
- Pay no additional fees;
- Track your driver’s location in the app;
- Get contact-free delivery.
But that is not all. Among the features listed below, the subscription will bring you additional bonuses. See what else you can gain:
- Save 5¢ per gallon on fuel at Walmart & Murphy stations throughout the US;
- Access member prices on fuel at more than 1,500 locations;
- Use your smartphone to shop quicker in-store with the scan & go feature in the Walmart mobile app.
Now everyone can first try all the membership benefits during free 15 days. It seems a good chance to check the service and understand whether it will actually be so beneficial for you.
