M1 Rewards Program Adds Seven Brands to Bonus Cash Back Categories
M1 Finance has made its popular Owner’s Rewards Card even more enticing with seven new brands to earn accelerated cash back on purchases.
The M1 Owner’s Rewards Visa® Signature Card is one of the more tempting fintech and investment rewards credit cards on the market today. Launched in the summer of 2021, the card offers three tiers of rewards when cardholders shop at select companies whose stock they own and 1.5% cash back on everything else. The cash back is automatically invested into their portfolio, helping to maximize rewards and grow long-term wealth through everyday transactions.
Now, M1 is making its Owner’s Rewards Program even more rewarding. Starting March 2022, cardholders have greater opportunities to earn more cash back when shopping at select companies they are invested in. The M1 Owner’s Rewards program has added seven new brands to their pretty extensive list of brands at which cardholders can earn up to 10% cash back. The new M1 bonus companies will help investors save big at the pumps with some of the biggest names in the fuel industry. The new companies include Amoco, BP, Chevron, Exxon, Mobil, and Texaco. Cardholders who invest in the six new fuel brands earn 5% cash back when they shop. Cardholders will also earn 2.5% back with communications and internet provider Spectrum.
The card comes with some compelling bonus payouts: 10% cash back on your Netflix subscription, 5% back on Delta Air Lines purchases, 5% back at Starbucks, and 2.5% at Amazon and Target. Other names with bonus incentives include Spotify, Nike, Doordash, and AMC (see the full bonus list here).
Additionally, as the Visa Signature network card, the Owner’s Reward Card comes with the benefits like zero liability, lost or stolen card reporting, Visa Signature Luxury Hotel Collection, Visa Signature Concierge, and integration with users’ M1 accounts. The physical card will be metal with contactless tap-to-pay and mobile payment options.
To get the card, you’ve got to have an eligible brokerage account with M1. The card is now available to all M1 users, so applicants are no longer required to join M1’s annual membership plan that offers benefits including additional trading windows and custodial accounts, among other items. With the Owner’s Rewards Card by M1, the annual fee is waived for all M1 Plus subscribers.
