Airline co-branded credit cards often come with annual fees. To compensate this fee, they provide travel perks and good rewards. However, the Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard credit card $89 annual fee is worth it only for those who fly Air France, KLM and partners a lot. If you don't fall into this category, then don't bother acquiring this card. There are plenty of travel credit cards which are universal, have similar or better bonuses and don't require annual fee or fee is waived first year.

If you fly Southwest Airlines often (at least two or three times a year) a Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority credit card may worth it because the card has travel benefits like priority boarding and inflight savings, and the anniversary bonus which covers the annual fee.
