No or limited credit history absolutely does not mean you can't qualify for a credit card. First of all, there are credit cards created specifically for people with no credit, and then you can always apply for a secured card if you can find the necessary amount for security deposit. Secured cards might be easier to get approved for, since the bank has a security deposit to add to your creditworthiness. View our top offers designed specifically for people with Limited or No Credit. These credit cards may help you establish credit if you do all necessary routines to build good credit history like on-time payments to all creditors, and if you do not use up your credit limit, etc. Read terms and conditions to find out details of these offers and choose what is best for you. Make sure you apply for offers for your credit rating!

Sadly, we don't have any information about credit history required to be eligible for AARP credit card. I wouldn't recommend applying for this card if your credit score is in the fair range.
