How long do I have to wait before I can get an increase of my credit limit?
Updated on May 29, 2013
You should show at least a year of responsible credit card use. For that you should make on time monthly payments on your credit card and stay within credit limit. Only then you can contact your credit issuer and ask for credit increase. Some issuers may offer you credit increase if they see you can manage your credit with all responsibility. Note that credit increase is not free and you will have to pay for this. Consult with your issuer about the credit increase terms. The contact phone number you can find on the back of your credit card.
