Want to know how much I was approved for my card?
Updated on January 23, 2013
If you applied for a credit card and want to know what credit limit will be, then call the credit card issuer directly. Remember credit limits are determined by credit card issuers depending on your creditworthiness. The higher your credit score, the better chance you have of getting a high credit limit. The average starting credit limits according to credit score are the following:
• excellent - good credit: $5000-$15000
• average credit: $1500-$5000
• bad credit: $200-$700
