I have been trying to get another credit card but I keep getting turned down. I had one back in 2007 from First Premier and it was charged off on my credit report and that is the only bad thing on my credit report. My credit scores: Experian is 609, Equifax is 609 and Trans Union is 597. How can I get a credit card without having to pay a security deposit?

Look at the Credit One Bank credit card offers. These are Visa Platinum credit cards for people with bad and fair credit history. All of the offers have an annual fee of $75 for the first year and $99 thereafter. You credit activity will be reported to the major credit bureaus, and if you make payments on time every month, you will be able to improve your credit history. These cards are unsecured credit cards, so, if approved, you won’t have to set down a security deposit.
