Bilt has officially launched its Bilt 2.0 credit card lineup featuring three new products: the Bilt Blue Card*, Bilt Obsidian Card* and Bilt Palladium Card*.

Following in the footsteps of the original Bilt World Elite Mastercard®*, the new Bilt cards are designed to appeal to a wide range of consumers, from the annual fee-averse to those seeking a premium travel card . Here’s a quick overview of what the new Bilt cards offer.

If you want to explore Bilt’s ecosystem and earn Bilt points for housing payments and/or everyday purchases, the Bilt Blue Card is a no-annual-fee option to get started.

Key features:

  • $0 annual fee
  • $100 in Bilt Cash when you apply and are approved
  • 1 Bilt point per dollar spent on everyday spending
  • Up to 1.25 point per dollar spent on mortgage and rent payments or 4% Bilt Cash back on everyday spending purchases

The Bilt Obsidian Card is a mid-tier option worth considering if you don’t want to pay a high annual fee but want to take advantage of everyday categories such as travel, dining and groceries.

Key features:

  • $95 annual fee
  • $200 in Bilt Cash when you apply and are approved
  • 3 Bilt points per dollar spent on dining or grocery purchases (up to $25,000 per year)
  • 2 Bilt points per dollar spent on travel
  • 1 Bilt point per dollar spent on everyday spending
  • Up to 1.25 Bilt point per dollar spent on mortgage and rent payments or 4% Bilt Cash back on everyday spending purchases
  • $100 annual Bilt Travel portal hotel credit ($50 available biannually per calendar year)

The Palladium Card is Bilt’s answer to premium travel cards on the market. The card is designed for high spenders who want a premium rewards experience. It offers up to $600 in annual statement credits, Priority Pass lounge access, and valuable transfer partners. Plus, the card’s welcome bonus more than offsets the cost of holding the card.

Key features:

  • $495 annual fee
  • 50,000 Bilt points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first three months
  • Gold elite status after meeting the welcome offer spend requirement
  • $300 in Bilt Cash after application approval
  • Unlimited 2 Bilt points per dollar spent on everyday spending
  • Up to 1.25 Bilt point per dollar spent on mortgage and rent payments or 4% in Bilt Cash on everyday spending purchases
  • $400 annual Bilt Travel portal hotel credit ($200 available biannually)
  • $200 in Bilt Cash annually
  • Priority Pass membership

Along with its new card lineup, Bilt is completely changing the way cardholders earn rewards on eligible housing payments. There are two options to choose from, and cardholders can change their preference every month. In the first option, Bilt uses a tiered earning structure that awards between 0.5x and up to 1.25x points on your housing payment. There are four tiers, meaning the more you use your card for everyday purchases, the higher your housing earning rate will be. If you don’t meet the minimum spending threshold in a given month, you’ll still earn a baseline 250 points per housing payment.

The second option uses Bilt Cash, which you earn from everyday spending on your Bilt card. You can then apply Bilt Cash to unlock 1x points on your full rent or mortgage payment, with no transaction fee. This option can be really effective, but it requires the most accurate record of your actual spending.

In addition to the expanded rewards program, every new cardholder receives a 10.00% intro APR on new eligible purchases for the first 12 months from account opening across all three cards (after which a standard variable APR applies).

Current Bilt Mastercard holders who choose not to switch to one of these cards will be replaced by the no-annual-fee Wells Fargo Autograph® Card.
