Wyndham Rewards Visa Card is a co-branded card of Wyndham offered by Barclaycard. It has rather good rewards program: you will earn 3 points for staying at participating By Wyndham hotels, Wyndham Vacation Rental North America properties, and Wyndham timeshare properties, 2 points on eligible gas, utility and grocery store purchases (excluding Target and Walmart) and 1 point on all other purchases. The card sign-up bonus on the other hand is tiny - only up to 15,000 bonus points after your first purchase or balance transfer. In all, card offers good rewards for Wyndham stays, but rewards on all other purchases are low. You can redeem your points toward free nights at Wyndham and room upgrades. You'll hardly be able to use this points anywhere else. That's why we recommend you apply for a general rewards credit card instead. A good card to get is the Discover it® Miles credit card. It gives you unlimited 1.5 miles on all purchases, matches all of your earned miles at the end of the first year (if you are a new cardmember) and you can redeem rewards for any travel expenses, including Wyndham stays, flights, popular cruises and other travel expenses. What is more, this card comes with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee - use your card with no additional costs.

You will receive 10,000 bonus points after making $1,000 in purchases with your credit card account within 90 days of account opening.
