I am trying to rebuild my credit and finally was accepted for one card. Should I apply for other credit cards or should I just deal with the one credit card I was accepted for? Please advise. I also have a number of false claims on my credit report, what do I do about those claims since I had nothing to do with them?

When you are rebuilding your credit, having just one credit card is quite enough to do so. You will need to make all the minimum payments on time every month and keep your balances low. When you are sure you can manage two credit cards properly and you indeed need one more credit card, then you can apply for another card. Most likely your credit score will have improved by that time and you will be able to get a better credit offer.
As for false claims on your credit reports, you can contact three major credit bureaus to dispute those claims and get them removed from your reports.
