My fico scores from three CRA's are all different. I would like to ask if which agency does AMEX use to approve or reject a credit card application? |
|
Answer:
As far as the official information says, banks use reports from all three agencies, making a general impression of the customer's history. If something seems doubtful or unclear for you, ask the bank for explanation.

Is there a Rewards credit card that will allow you to pay your home bills ( ex. utility bills, etc.)with the credit card and get rewards points or flyer miles? |
|
Answer:
Most rewards credit cards can be used to pay home bills, so you should choose one fitting your credit score and preferences. I can't recommend any definite card, as you haven't mentioned your credit score.

Could you advise me of credit cards that would allow for a new small business without established credit. You have to start somewhere. |
|
Answer:
Credit cards for small business require good credit history, so you'll have to establish credit with one of secured credit cards - it is inevitable for you to use all the conveniences of business credit card. Look through the list of secured credit cards and apply for one of them.

I am currently trying to establish credit....I have no credit. Is there a credit card I can apply for that requires no credit and has some sort of gasoline benifits? |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, there hardly is a credit card for no credit with gasoline benefits, as such cards generally give no rewards, but after you improve your credit, you'll be able to apply for a gasoline credit card. Now, search for no credit credit cards at our site, or try Credit-Land.com.

I have a bankruptcy (2 + yrs ago) and I have no debt. 3 open accounts with zero balances. Accounts 10 yrs old, 11 mos old and 3 mos old. Credit scores of 657, 669 and 696. I am looking to improve my scores by opening another credit card in order to increase my debt to available credit ratios, is there any cards that would approve me other than Orchard Bank? |
|
Answer:
You can try and search for a credit card among the credit card offers by First Premier bank. You seem to understand that good credit cards are not available for you until the bankruptcy record isn't moved away from your report. So you should wait and maybe ask the bureau or financial consultant how and when you can move off your bankruptcy.

How do I know if I will get approved for the credit card I want before I apply for it and risk being denied, my score being checked and then my credit scored being lowered?
I have A LOT of questions- if you could please let me know if I can ask them all at once or if I have to do it separately I would appreciate it. Also can they be specific questions? I hope to hear from you soon, thank you! |
|
Answer:
Get your credit report and study it, after that you will be able to evaluate your chances to get a card you want. It's better not to risk and make applications for cards you will surely be approved for.
Dear Meghan, if you want to ask us many questions, you are free to do it, but it's better to use this Immediate Credit Card Care Service, so that other people could read the answers. But, unfortunately, questions dealing with your private information or information on your account or status of your application is beyond our competence, so please, go to official sites of the banks or call the banks to clear them out.

I have just moved to the US. I have applied for a credit card and my application was refused because of an insufficient credit history in USA. I was 7 years in Canada before coming here and was used to have 3 credit cards and a good credit history.
What can I do to begin building a credit history in USA and to get a credit card? Do I have to apply for cards destinated to those who have a bad credit score?
Thanks.
Omar |
|
Answer:
You have guessed it right, to establish a credit history in the USA you should get a credit card for no credit history.
