i want to establish some credit. so i can finaly get my first credit card. |
|
Answer:
Look through No Credit Card Offers category and choose the card to your liking. You can decide between secured cards, cards with a cosigner and the new unsecured credit card offers. Make an online credit card application and start your credit history.

Can you tell me what credit cards do not charge the 3% fee for international exchange transactions. Will be travelling abroad shortly.
Thanks
Maureen |
|
Answer:
HSBC Platinum MasterCard and a number of AmEx credit cards have 2% on foreign exchange. Other cards, as far as we know, have 3% or this operation is not available.

I have good credit how can i get the best deal |
|
Answer:
You can have your own notion of the best deal, for example, with lowest charges or with intersting rewards. That's why we can't recommend you any definite credit card offer. Look through our categories for good credit history and choose the one that matches your preferences best.

I have a zero balance on several department store cards and wish to close them all and get a regular mastercard. Is this an easy thing to do. Is there a card recommended. My credit is fair. |
|
Answer:
There's no need to close your department store cards, as having them with 0 balance adds to your credit. But if you want a fair credit card, look through the credit card offers in the corresponding category and choose the best card for yourself.

How long do you wait once accounts are paid in full to close them? How long do you wait before applying for other credit cards? |
|
Answer:
If you want to close your card after you have paid off your balances, ask the bank about the way to do it. As for applying for new cards, there's no restriction in getting new cards, unless you have problems with your present cards.

How old do you have to be before applying for a credit card? |
|

Actually, there is practically no restriction, as there are credit card offers for children nowadays. So, everything depends on the type of card you want to get.

How old do you have to be before applying for a credit card? I have a Visa Buxx card but want a real credit card. |
|
Answer:
There is no age restriction for getting a credit card, as there are credit card offers for children. But your age and employment status together with credit history are significant if you want to apply for a definite credit card. So give us more information about you, so we could recommend something definite.

I have a visa line of credit card that has a high interest rate and a high limit. How do I get another company to allow me to transfer this balance. How do I get the interest rate lowered so making a payment will substantially decrease amount owed. I am seeking to get within the 35% open on each card and finance charges is making it difficult on this card. |
|
Answer:
If you have good credit, you can apply for a balance transfer credit card. With it you can pay off your balance at a lower interest rate. There is a wide range of balance transfer card you can find at our site. Choose the one with the terms and charges that match you best.
