What is the best credit card for short term use? What if you know you need a certin amout of credit, is there anyway to get it on one card instead of applying for several?

If you are planning to pay off your balance in full each month the best option for you will be a charge card. It is similar to a credit card but there is no ‘minimum payment' - you have to pay off the whole amount borrowed by the end of the billing cycle. It works almost like a short-term loan. The biggest advantage of these cards is that the interest rate is usually very low. Some issuers such as American Express allow customers to pay for significant purchases over time (for example, with an American Express card you can enroll in the Extended Payment Program or Sign & Travel Program).

Consider such cards as Preferred Rewards Green Card or The Gold Card from American Express OPENSM with no pre-set spending limit and finance charges. Compare the rewards programs and select the card that suits your spending habits. Keep in mind that these cards are for good and excellent credit only.

If you do not want a charge card and would like to get a regular credit card to be able to make only minimum payments One from American Express® is a good option. This card also has no pre-set spending limit. This is an instant approval card is you will know whether your application is approved within 60 seconds. This deal is for consumers with good/excellent credit as well.

re: all unsecured credit cards for poor, bad, problems that exist EXCEPT cards offered or affiliated FIRST PREMIERE! Please locate if any exist!

A good way to rebuild credit is to apply for a secured credit card. You need to make a bank deposit to secure your credit account. The rates on such cards are much lower than those on First PREMIER cards and all the payment information goes to the credit bureau.

Our experts recommend Secured Visa® Credit Card from Applied Bank and Black Diamond Visa® issued by Millennium Bank. These are cards are designed especially for consumers with damaged credit history.

If you need an unsecured credit card consider Orchard Bank Classic MasterCard®. Even though it is a card for consumers with bad/no credit it has 0% APR on purchases for 6 months. You can use online enrollment to receive email and text messages when the due date comes.

i NEED TO APPLY FOR A SECURED CREDIT CARD. i CANNOT QUALIFY FOR ANY OTHER KIND. i HAVE CLEARED ALL OF MY NEGATIVES FROM MY CREDIT REPORT, SOME PAID IN FULL AND SOME THRU SETTELMENT. i HAVE A GOOD JOB, i MAKE 32k A YEAR AND HAVE NO OUT STANDING DEBTS. mY NEXT SET IS TO RE-ESTABLISH MY SELF WITH A SECURED CARD SO THAT i CAN, BUILD A GOOD FICO SCORE. CAN YOU HELP ME?

It is a wise decision to start rebuilding your credit history with a secured credit card. These cards have lower rates compared to regular credit cards for bad credit and all the payment information goes to credit bureaus. Here are the best secured cards selected by our experts.

Secured Visa® Credit Card from Applied Bank. The greatest advantage of this card is that your low APR won't change even if you are late with your payment. You can choose a credit limit of up to $5,000 by making a bank deposit.

Black Diamond Visa® from Millennium Bank. Your application will be approved regardless of your credit history because the bank does not do a credit check. The credit limit is up to $10,000. You also receive a $10,000 accident insurance.

Since you have already paid off your debt you might qualify for one of the unsecured cards issued by First PREMIER such as Centennial Gold MasterCard®/Visa. Since it has relatively low APR on purchases the card is the most popular unsecured deal for consumers with bad credit.

garented approval in 30 seconds for credit card

There are cards for different types of credit history that have instant approval. That does not mean that the approval is guaranteed, though. For example, if you are applying for a card for excellent credit you should have a good credit report.

The situation is different for card offers for those with bad credit. First PREMIER Bank gives cards within 60 seconds such as Gold MasterCard®/Visa and Centennial Gold MasterCard®/Visa.

You can also get a card with no credit check at all if you apply for a secured credit card, for example Black Diamond Visa® from Millennium Bank. However, you will have to make a bank deposit first to secure your credit account.

On Discover card. What is auto maintaince , does that include purchase of tires? What about repairs? Do they have a list of what qualifies?

With Discover® Open Road Card you get full 5% cash back on gas and car related purchases. i have a business that i buy approx 20,000.00 in product every month. is there a card that would allow me to get cash back on that much each month if paid off in full each month.

There are several business credit cards you should consider.

Business Platinum Rewards MasterCard® and Life-of-Balance Platinum Card issued by Advanta Bank. There is no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn. Cash Back rewards are earned based on your annual level of Net Purchases (made for business purposes), excluding Bonus Qualifying purchases, as follows: .25% on up to $3,000 in purchases; .50% on purchases between $3,000.01 and $5,000; .75% on purchases between $5,000.01 and $15,000; and 1% on purchases in excess of $15,000. There are also items that are considered Bonus Qualifying Purchases (computers, computer supplies, gasoline and diesel fuel, online advertising services, electronics and office supplies, and utilities and telecommunications.) Your credit limit will depend on your credit history but it might be up to $50,000.

Discover® Business Cashback Card. This card also offers unlimited cash back rewards. Each year, you can earn a full 5% Cashback Bonus on your first $2,000 in office supply purchases as well as a full 2% on your first $2,000 in gas purchases. On top of that, you can earn up to 1% unlimited Cash back Bonus on all other items purchased after your total annual purchases exceed $5,000. On other purchases that are part of your first $5,000 you can earn .25%.

Consider the options and choose the card that suit you best.

My daughter just turned 18 and starts college on monday. One of the cards we are looking at asks for the total household income. I assume that means we include my husbands and mine also. Is that correct? What would be the best card for her at this point. She has no credit history yet.
In most cases when a student applies for a credit card for the first time he/she can include his/her parents' income. To be totally sure you can contact the issuer. Since your daughter has just started college and has no credit history yet she should consider the offers for young adults with limited credit. Capital One is the leading issuer that offers cards for consumers with limited or no credit. No Hassle CashSM Rewards for Young Adults and Standard Platinum for Young Adults are designed especially for young adults. Both of them offer 0% APR on purchases until December, 2008.Another option is Citi® mtvUTM Platinum Select® Visa® Card for College Students. It has 0% APR on purchases for 6 months and a nice rewards program that will allow your daughter to earn reward points for every dollar spent. She will be able to redeem those points for gift certificates, MTV events, and airline tickets.

I have a few credit cards that are blocked or closed, but have found out about settlements. My credit score is low 600's and my wifes score is 700 roughly. We would like to do some settlements by use of balance transfers to get them paid off. What route for credit card is my wifes best option ? She would need credit card with about 8,000 to 10,000 limit . Please help! Thank you
Your wife's score is rather good so she might be able to get a balance transfer card for good credit. The credit limit is determined by the bank so we cannot guarantee that she gets a $8,000-$10,000 credit limit even if she is approved.Discover More card is among the best cards for balance transfer. It offers 0% APR on balance transfer as well as purchases. It has no annual fee and a cash back program. However, this card is for those with good and excellent credit so there are chances that your wife's application will not be approved.Platinum Prestige issued by Capital One could be a solution for you. This card has no intro 0%APR but it is still a good deal because it offers low rate APR. Moreover, this card has one of the highest approval rates among low rate APR offers. Your credit line with this card might be up to $20,000.Another card that is very popular for balance transfer is Platinum issued by Capital One. There is no balance transfer and the interest rate is very low. Consumers with limited credit are eligible for this card however the credit line is rather small - up to $5,000.
