I just got offered a credit card from first premire bank with a 300.00 credit limit. The set up fees, the yearly fees and the other fees equal about my credit limit. I have a 560, 550 and 510 credit score but I am going to try to repair that and some of it is clearly inaccurate. My Mom who has excellent credit told me not to activate that card and to find one she could co-sign for me on, but I cant find one online with the application for a co-signer. Can you help me find one?
In fact all
good credit applications allow to co-sign for someone. However as it happens you can not apply with a co-signer right away online. If you are eager to get a card with a co-signer, you should do the following. First of all, your mother (co-signer) applies online through our service for any good/excellent credit card. She gets approved. Then she can call the bank and say that she would like to add someone to her account and that she will be a co-signer for a person with bad credit history (you). She must tell your social security number. Then the co-signer receives a statement by mail. You must sign it and send back. After that you will share an account with your mother (co-signer). Mind, that you will get two cards with two different numbers, but the account and credit limit will be the same. By making timely payments you will start building your credit history as the information on your payments will be sent to all credit bureaus every month. My score is 680 I just got turned down by Discovery, where should I apply?
The credit score is crucial as it helps the lenders to decide whether you qualify for the chosen card or not. Paying attention to the score is extremely important, because if you apply for the card you are not eligible for you'll be denied and your history will be damaged. Nowadays people with all types of scores can actually apply for a credit card and be approved. You highest score is 680 that is considered good. However the lenders generally tend to look at the lowest score, not at the highest one. If your lowest score is less than 660 you score is considered fair. That's why we recommend you to choose among the
cards for fair credit. On our website you can find several variants of such cards from Capital One and First PREMIER. Read the details about each card carefully and apply for the one that suits you most. All the best, Manager of Immediate Credit Card Care Service
