I am looking into getting a Chase Bank PerfectCard MasterCard®
I am trying to time it right, in order to maximize the 0% intro rate for 12 months. Does the rate start as soon as the account is approved, or does the rate start once you make your first purchase?
Also, how long does this approval process take before a card is in hand?
Your help is appreciated.

My M&T Bank/FIA Services Visa recently jumped from 4.9% to >10% with no warning. They claim they sent me a letter notifying me of the change in December, but I did not receive one and now I'm really in a jam. I am not able to transfer the full $10,000 balance to another card because I don't have the available credit on them. Do I have any other options? I tried speaking with a manager last week, but he was of little help and his only suggestion was that I contact a credit consolidation company for help. I don't want to ruin my credit. I've never been late on a payment.

IS THERE A CARD WITH 0% TRANSFER FOR UP TO $20,000?
At our site we present the best credit cards with balance transfers only for good or excellent credit. All of them (exception is Blue from American Express) offer 0% introductory Annual Percentage Rate on balance transfer and on purchases for up to 12 months. If you have good or excellent credit, pay your attention to Discover Card More Card. It has no annual fee and offers 10,99% APR on balance transfer and the same APR on purchases on the expiry of 12 months. You need to look through all these credit card offers, compare them very carefully, then make your choice and apply for the credit card online.

I have a Fico score of 690 from one credit bureau, 670 and another at 646. I would like to apply for a credit card that uses the bureau carrying my highest score. Is there any way to screen where different companies pull their info? Also, with a score of 690 can I apply for a card requiring a "good" rating?
