When AmexOne says they dont have pre set limit, do they mean anyone who has that type of card can use the card for as much as they want to? |

A preset limit means the amount of your credit is not limited by the bank. American Express provides such credit card offers, so you do not have to think about your spendings. But look at the bottom side - credit agencies consider your credit limit when determine your credit score. If you are not afraid of that your credit card has no limit and credit bureaus won't make a full calculation, take an American Express card. Otherwise, it's reasonable to apply for a Visa credit card or a Mastercard credit card.

First of all you should be sure such service is available for your card. In the statements or terms&conditions of your credit card you can find such kind of information. If you want to pay online, you just get authorized at the web page belonging to your bank's official website and fill out the given forms with your account numbers and the like. If you want to pay by phone - you just use an sms service and enter the necessary information or dictate the same information to the operator by phone.

several days ago i got three emails allegedly from bank of america, asking me to activate my credit card, and referencing my "account with bank of america". since i don't bank with you and i didn't apply for a credit card, i deleated this email - except for one of them that i wrote back and simply said "I don't have an account with b of a". I need to know if someone has tried to open an account in my name. My daughter just had an identity theft occur and now i\'m suspicious about everything. Please contact me to confirm that no one has opened an account in my name. My daughter has a B of A credit card. Her name is Heather A. Rufino. |

You are right to suspect identity theft. But we do not have any information concerning your credit or checking accounts or credit card numbers and any other personal information. So you should immediately call the bank and clear the situation out. They are likely to invite you to prove you have nothing in common with the person to whom those emails were addressed. Do not forget to turn to credit bureaus to report of identity theft. After that your credit history will be closed for credit inquiries.

I entered the wrong mailing address. The address I provided is not my mailing address. What can I do? |

Answer:
You can do nothing, if you have already submitted your application. I mean, the credit card, if approved, will be sent to the address you given. You can either cancel the application, thus damaging your credit, or call the bank and report about the mistake (they may change your data, but may not do it as well), or expect to receive the credit card at that address.
Anyway, call the bank and ask them.

If you still can't find it, maybe, you should try to use the search engine to find this credit card, or there should be a web address or phone number in your pre-approval letter. Once you obtain that phone you can call and speak directly to the company that charges your account. There is also a possibility that the amount of money taken from your account is a setup fee for your credit card, and you were not aware of it, maybe it has slipped of your notice or the terms of the credit card offers were changed by the bank.
