I would like to apply for the card which gives a travel statement credit. I’m planning a holiday trip and want to use those to buy a ticket with Delta or maybe some other airline. Is Delta Reserve a good card to do it?

We can offer you to consider getting a travel rewards credit card. Such cards allow to redeem earned rewards for travel statement credits you need. Most of the cards come with sign-up bonuses, and all of them will allow you to earn miles or points on everyday purchases. The redemption is usually easy but some issuers require a minimum amount of miles that can be redeemed. The others allow redeeming starting at 1 mile or 1 point. Another good thing about travel rewards cards is that they allow you to redeem with any airline, including Delta.
Specifically we would like you to pay your attention to the Discover It Miles card. This card combines all the best features you can expect from a travel credit card. You earn as much as 1.5 miles for all purchases and the miles are matched at the end of the first year giving you twice as many miles. The card allows you to redeem the miles you earned for a travel statement credit that you can spend on any travel you like, or you can redeem them for cash. The miles never expire and there’s no cap on how many you can earn. Unlike most travel or co-branded cards, Discover it Miles has no annual fee. And if you want to travel right now without bothering to earn miles first, you can enjoy the perk of a 14-month 0% intro APR. You can apply with Discover and forget about travel limitations.
