I really confused on looking at all travel rewards cards. Is Southwest Rapid Rewards the best for one who mostly flies Southwest?

It depends on how often you fly Southwest Airlines. If you fly often, say two or three times a year, then the Southwest credit card can be a good deal even with an annual fee which is quite high. However, the regular travel rewards credit cards can give you greater flexibility. For example, the Discover it® Miles credit card allows to earn miles on all purchases. Plus, first-year miles will be matched if you have this card first time. So, if you earn 35,000 miles, you get 70,000 miles at the end of your first year. Earned miles can be redeemed for more than Southwest flights. In fact, you can buy any airline ticket and use miles to cover its cost. So, if you are willing to give your loyalty to only one airline, an airline branded credit card will work for you. But if you prefer flexibility, a travel rewards credit card is a better option. And combining an airline credit card with a regular credit card can help you save even more.
