I was very disappointed when I found out that Ikea no longer offers a credit card. I have been planning on purchasing a large amount of furniture from Ikea, but I’m not sure how I’m going to pay for it. Does Ikea offer any other way to finance a large purchase?

Ever since Ikea dropped their credit card in 2011, there hasn’t been any way to directly finance a large purchase through Ikea. Although Ikea can’t help you finance your purchases, it doesn’t mean you are entirely out of options. There is currently a great amount of general credit cards available to people who are in the same position as you. One type of credit card that is great for financing large purchases, would be a card that comes with a 0% introductory APR on purchases. These cards generally allow you to collect no-interest on purchases for an introductory period of about 6-12 months. By using one of these cards, you would be able to pay off the balance of your purchase over a few months, without the worry of collecting interest.
