I got lower credit limit on my Overstock card than expected and now I need another card. Which card will give me a higher credit limit?

As a rule, your credit limit is based on your creditworthiness and your credit score. However, some credit cards do not offer a high credit limit to anyone, no matter how good your credit is. Store credit cards tend to have low credit limits. If you’d like a credit card with a higher limit, you should consider applying for a regular credit card – not a store card. But before you apply, check your credit reports to see if and how your credit score’s changed after you got the Overstock card. Having good credit will make a big difference in how much credit you’re given. The best way to get a high credit score is to always pay your credit card monthly bill on time, every month.
