Aside from the Amazon.com store card there is also a version issued by Chase and branded by Amazon and Visa. This card does not offer the same 5% cashback at Amazon, but it does offer 3%. It also offers 2% back at gas stations, restaurants, and drug stores. And 1% back on all other purchases. This card does not offer the special financing option, but that is not a good option anyway. There is no annual fee. The APR on this card is also somewhat lower and ranges from 14.49%-22.49% depending on your creditworthiness, whereas the store card has an interest rate upwards of 26% regardless of your credit score. Points can be redeemed anytime during checkout where you can always see your points balance (100 points equals $1), but you can also redeem these points for things like travel which could possibly increase their value as well.
All rates and fees, and other terms and conditions of the products mentioned in this article/post are actual as of the last update date but are subject to change. See the current products' Terms & Conditions on the issuing banks' websites.
