I shop a lot at Walmart, grocery mostly, and would like to know if there’s a way to earn cash back on these purchases. I don’t want to apply for a Walmart credit card, please advise.

Consider Discover credit cards. Discover offers up to 20% cashback bonus if you shop online through shopdiscover.com. Discover partners with many retailers and Walmart is among them. Shopping at Walmart through shopdiscover.com, you will get 5% Cashback Bonus (while Walmart credit cards offer 1% cash back on net purchases).

Besides Discover offers 0% introductory offers on purchases and balance transfer, which is not offered by Walmart.

So, if you want to shop at Walmart but don’t want their credit card, a Discover credit card will be a good alternative.
