There are so many credit cards that offer cash back rewards. It’s difficult to offer just one card. But you’re right that you want to get one more credit card that is not a store credit card, which is probably a better choice for everyday purchases. Store credit cards often don’t give the best rewards, especially outside the issuing store. Now, as you are looking for a cash back credit card, look for a card that gives cash back in rotating shopping categories. Thus, you will be able to maximize your savings in a designated category, such as movie theaters, home and garden shops, or department stores. This is a great way to get savings that change with the seasons. Be aware possible limits, however. As a rule such categories have a limit on how much cash back you can get. But there is usually a standard cash back reward of 1% that is not capped or limited.
