They also offer a Visa card by Citibank. This card offers the same Best Buy rewards as the store card but can also be used outside of the store and offers 1% back on most other purchases. This card also offers 2% back on dining out and groceries. Keep in mind that you do not need to have either credit card to reap rewards. By simply being a member of their store loyalty program you can get one point per dollar spent. This is probably their most valuable card of all. A $500 purchase would earn 1,250 points which would have a reward certificate value of $25 dollars. By being an elite Plus member of the My Best Buy loyalty program you can increase your reward earning by 1% which translates to a $30 reward certificate for spending $500. To become an elite Plus member, you would have to make $3,500 in purchases in a calendar year. But getting the card is free and there is no credit check required.
