When you get a store credit card, it’s always smart to look carefully at the terms and conditions to see where you can use it. It’s best to do this before you get the card and not after. Take a look at payment network, as well as APRs and fees. The Academy credit card is a Visa credit card which means it will be accepted everywhere Visa cards are accepted. So, you will be able to buy groceries, or pay at restaurants for your dinner. As for interest rates, your APR for purchases can be as high as 23.74% and APR for cash advances will be 24.49%. Annual fee can be up to $29, depending on the type of the account you get. Cash advance fee is pretty standard – 3% or $10 minimum, whichever is greater. If you are late with a payment, you will be penalized and will pay up to $38. A returned payment will cost you up to $35. So, if you are OR with fees and interest rates, this card can be a choice for you.
