Does a person have a better chance of being approved for a credit card with a larger line of credit if they have money in a savings account in the same bank for which they are making an application? This card would be used as a balance transfer card only, so I could lower the interest rate until I get the balance paid off.
I suppose,in this case chances will be better. But it will work on condition that your credit score is enough for a balance transfer card which usually require good credit history. You are welcome to apply online for a balance transfer card at our site.

Best of luck,

with the citi card with 15,000 bonus miles to sign up can these miles be applied too my united mile card? is united one of the airlines.
If this is allowed by the terms&conditions of your card, you can. It's better to ask the bank about it.

I have 716 on equifax, 713 on experian, and 695 on transunion. I have a bankrupcy filing for chapter 13 that was filed 12/1999 showing on transunion only. Is it possible for me to get an american express card?
Ch. 13 stays for 10 years in your credit report, but as you have good credit score, you may try to ask the bureau to remove it (but little hope for that). MInd that banks usually look at thr lowest credit score report, in your case it is Transunion, so you won't be able to hide it. I think, the safest thing for you will be to apply for some other card.

Question: I own and operate a successful LLC that grosses over $250k annually. I also have a six year old personal bankruptcy on my credit report that keeps thwarting my efforts to secure a business credit card. Can you advise me of who is most likely to approve my company for a CORPORATE credit card (not a personal credit card) in light of the circumstances?

Thanks,

Andrew Berke
Try to apply to Citibank. To increase the chances of getting a card, you should eastablish your business credit account and get your business plan to show to creditors. They will still look at your credit history, so the amount will not be very extensive.

do you have to pay the card balance in full each month for the AE Blue card or just the monthly payment?
As far as I know, this card has a flexible system of payments, so as you can pay however you want. But, actually, all the details about payments can be found in terms&conditions of the card or ask the customer service.

how can i prove my credit worthiness back to the credit card people
You have only one way to do it: pay off your balances in full and on time and never stop using credit cards. Some property is also a good demonstration of your reliability as well as severl department store cards. But when applying for cards, mind your credit score and do not try to get a better card than you are eligible for.

I have had a problem in the past with my social security number getting used by someone else. I no longer give my social security number when applying for credit.
I have a small business and have aquired an EIN number. Are there any credit card companies that issue credit with an EIN number instead of a social security number?
I don't want a repeat of what happened.

Thanks
In fact, our credit card applications require your social security number to proceed the application. So probably do the other web services. We understand that very often people are victims to identity theft and other troubles. But, unfortunately, we do not provide any phone numbers or links, so you will have to make a small web research yourself.

I would like to get a secure card, however the ones that I have applied for ask for a checking account. I have a mastercard but not a checking account at this time. Is there any way to bypass this or are there companies that are out there that will take the secured deposit out of a card instead?
Our secured credit cards require making a bank deposit. The limit on the card depends on the amount of the bank deposit. Then the bank can take money from your deposit if you don't pay your bill.
Secured cards are usually given to people with credit problems. See secured credit cards for to evaluate the offers.
